U8 Match Reports
On a fine crisp Spring morning our boys had a spring in their steps.
The Tigers won their game 15 - 9 with some really good running and tagging. Tries were scored by Warwick Syms-Golden (4); Ben Hawkes (4); Jacob Fenwick (2); Charlie Labbett (2); Jack Lee (2); & Zac Parker (1).
The Player of the Match was Warwick Syms-Golden.

The Lions were equally successful winning 11-6. Tries were scored by George Duffy (6)!; William Davies (4) and Sam Richards (1).

After last weeks tagging display the players had a pre-match training session in tagging which proved to be very effective.

The Tigers were first on and showed some great running and tagging to win 7-4. The try scorers were Zac Parker (3); Charlie Labett(2); Jacob Fenwick(1); and Oliver Mansell(1). The Player of the Match was Zac Parker.

The Lions won their match 6-3. The scorers were Jacob Robb(2); Kian Woodside(1); William Davies(1); & William Walker(2). Player of the Match was Jack Lee.

All our players played really well both in attack and defence. Keep it up lads & Grace

The players needed their mountain climbing & potholing kits to cope with the pitch we were allocated.

The Lions were beaten in the first game 4-7. Our try scorers were Harry Nixon (3) and Zac Parker (1) and in the second game 3-6. Our try scorers were Ben Luckraft (2) and Zac Parker (1). Player of the Match was Harry Nixon.

The Tigers narrowly lost their first game 4-5. Our try scorers were Ben Hawkes (3) and George Duffy (1). They won their second game 7-6. Our scorers were Jacob Fenwick (2); George Duffy (1); Alfie Jordan (1); Charlie Labett (1); Alarick Haynes(1); Oliver Mansell (1) & Aidan Hickey(1). Player of the Match was Patrick Carrington. Well done boys.

Our attacking was excellent but we were let down in defence by dismal tagging.

Although the ground wasn't frozen there was a bitterly cold wind which chilled to the bone. In spite of this enough boys turned up for us to field 3 teams. Despite playing well the Tigers lost 6 - 10. Tries were scored by Ben Hawkes (3); Aidan Hickey (2) and Ben Luckraft (1). The Player of the Match was Aidan Hickey.
The Lions won their match 7 - 6. Well done boys. The scorers were Charley Labett (4); A Hawkes (1); Warwick Syms-Golden (1) and Zac Parker (1). Player of the Match was Jacob Robb for his defending.
The 3rd match was just lost 5 - 6. Scorers were Charley Labett (2); Zac Parker (1); George Duffy (1); and A Hawkes (1).
