A hard fought home game against Keresley, with the forwards working tirelessly throughout the game. Debutant hooker, Steve Pahal, played well in place of recent hooker Joe Richardson who was unable to play due to illness. Penalties were unfortunately given away too easily to Keresley who capitalised on this to put points on the board. Ben Palmer, Tom Smith, Jack Quinlan & Jake Copper worked particularly hard to contain Keresley forwards. The colts fought consistently for the duration of the game and were unfortunate to concede a try in the last minutes of the game following sustained pressure by OLs with three varied try attempts defended by Keresley. The colts played as a strong unit despite several players not playing in their usual positions. Unfortunately Scott Goudie sustained a cracked tibia and we all wish him a speedy recovery as he will be sorely missed in the forthcoming games after his excellent start to the season.
OL's Colts were pleased to welcome Adam Savage, the colts coach from Moreton Morrell College, who gave guidance and direction to the players throughout the game. Well done all of you, same again for our next game at Bedworth.

Well - what a let down!
After four weeks of really top training, OLs U10s were looking forward to testing their skills at home to Berkswell & Balsall Common RFC.
However our visitors failed to show - a phone call would not have gone a miss - so we were left to hold another training session in driving rain.
We try again at Alcester in two weeks time.
