Another away match, with the Vets keeping the playing numbers up in the club. The Vets travelled to Coventrians to discover that they only had 11 players. Old Leamingtonians RFC is sad to hear about the death of Vaughan King. King, a former Nuneaton and Rugby Lions Player, joined Old Leamingtonians RFC in 1991 as head coach
to the ladies’ team. During his time here his skills and teaching were instrumental in our rapid development and he steered us to the top
echelons of the womens’ game, playing Premiership rugby for many years, the foundations that underpin us
today. Vaughan died after a battle with cancer and will be sadly missed by the rugby fraternity and our sympathies are with his family at this time.
There is an opportunity to say goodbye to Vaughan on Tuesday March 6th. Schedule is:
Tuesday 6th March 1.00pm Coton Church Coton Road Nuneaton all welcome
Crematorium Service at 2.15pm for Family and close friends ( limited space)
N.O.E.R.F.C from 1.45pm onwards everyone welcome. The family will join us after the Cremation.
The family have requested that instead of flowers, donations are sent to Cancer Research UK in Vaughan's name.

black as they chalked up their ninth win in 17 league starts to consolidate
fifth position with four of their remaining five fixtures seeing them
pitted against teams below them in a table dominated by unbeaten
Droitwich.
