The Under 13's welcomed Shipston to the Crofts on Sunday 15th. A close fought game saw Shipston score a try through good back play with the outside center touching down in the corner. Shipston scored a second try after good rucking by their forwards who released quick ball to the backs who again found the gap for another try wide out.The second half saw the OL's Under 13's start to assert themselves and following some consistant pressure in the visitors half a five meter scrum was forced. Number 8 Sam Beech picked up from the base of the scrum and forced his way over for 5 points.
The game ended 5 - 10 with valuable lessons in tackling and concentration being learnt by the Under 13 boys |
