Old Leamingtonians Under 13’s travelled to Stratford to play Stratford RFC under 13’s at the grounds of Stratford High School. There was a gale blowing and the pitch was unusually small so the Old Leams took the decision to play a dynamic hard-hitting forward-orientated game plan. This rapidly proved to be the right way to play on the day as the Old Leams forwards were technically far superior to the Stratford boys and were able to dictate terms in all phases of the game. The result being that the old adage of "forwards win games, backs decide by how much" was perfectly exampled. Old Leamingtonians Under 13’s ran in 5 trys with 2 being converted. A particular mention to Kyle who played his debut game for Old Leams and performed with great vigour and skill

Final score Old Leamingtonians Under 13’s - 29 – Stratford Under 13’s - 0

Sunday November 23rd at the club from 10.00am

The gum shield is the most important piece of equipment a rugby player should own.

gumshield.pngThe gum shield not only protects your teeth and gums, it can reduce damage around the jaw and your chances of getting concussed.

As every mouth is different, so every gum shield should be moulded to fit perfectly around the top half of a player's mouth.

The best way of doing this is to see your local club dentist, who will make sure the shield is right for your mouth.

Roy Dixon, Dentist of this parish, will be available at the club to take impressions for perfectly moulded blue-and-gold gum shields.

£25 cash for complete piece of mind
