ols_-_oxford_march_2007_14The Women's Team are close to clinching the title in Midlands 2 this year. With only 1 match to go, they are 4 points ahead of their main rivals, Newcastle-under-Lyme. The final match will take place in Whitchurch on Sunday April 15th, 2.15pm. A win will mean the first league title for an OLs team in years. In fact, the last senior team to win a championship title was also the women's team!

Come and cheer the ladies on!

Although the match is away in Whitchurch, the ladies hope Old Leamingtonians will be represented on the sidelines with many supporters. When the ladies played in the National Cup Final in 1999, 4 coaches full of supporters travelled along to the match. Perhaps 4 coaches is a bit much to ask for this time but any supporters who want to come along to the match, please get in touch via This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and we might be able to fit you on our coach there and back.

If you want to travel to the match on your own, here are directions to Whitchurch Rugby Club
