 I am pleased to report that the Warwickshire Comets have voted to join Old Leamingtonians' Mini/Junior section as of the start of the new season.
The girls will now officially become part of the Old Leamingtonians family and they will be called Old Leamingtonians Comets. The Ladies' Section is especially pleased with this as it will create a pathway for the girls to join OLs at a young age and remain with the club throughout their development into senior players. The Comets will benefit from assistance from the vast experience of the Ladies' senior players and coaching staff and the Ladies' Section will benefit from having a steady feed of young players moving to the senior team.
On behalf of the Ladies' Section (and the rest of Old Leamingtonians), I welcome the Comets to the club and I look forward to years of successful rugby and many home-grown players coming up through the ranks.
