Relay for life a great success

The rain never stopped but neither did the Old Leams team! The Relay for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK raised around £25,000 this weekend! Teams from all over Warwickshire came to the club to walk around the training pitch for 24 hours. They pitches their tents, dressed up in funny outfits and raised lots of money. The team from Old Leamingtonians consisted of: Danni Benge, Pip Colenutt, Marieke Vink, Karen Coleman, Ada Ajoku, Gemma Lewis, Mary Sugrue, Laura Knox, Fiona Rose-Jebson, Jane Daniel, Mike Vallence (not in the picture: Julie, Alex & Becky Vallence).  Of of course, Top Dog Branston! Everyone was REALLY tired by the time Sunday morning came around but it was a great experience and something we will definately look forward to for next year!
