Rugby Lions-U8s

On a cold but sunny Sunday, OL's U8's travelled to Rugby Lions for what proved to be three exciting games of well played Tag rugby.  Although edged out 2 games to 1 overall, OL's proved that their development is progressing well with only the occasional lapse in defence proving the difference. All this and a consistent and fair referee! The results and scorers were:- Game 1 Rugby Lions 4 OLRFC 3 (Tom Fawcett, Sam Farrow, Harriet Lee) Best Player Theo McAuliffe - Top Tagging Best Support Danielle Clutton Game 2 Score Rugby Lions 2 OLRFC 5 (Kai Bailey 3, Theo McAuliffe, Ben McCann) Best Player Tom Fawcett- Great Runs good passing. Theo McAuliffe- Top tagging Best Support Tom Hoare- Always there behind the ball.   Game 3  Score Rugby Lions 8 OLRFC 5 (Kai Bailey, Tom Fawcett, Tom Hoare 2, George Smith)  Best Player George Smith Best Support Rory Holland  Special mentions go to George Smith and Theo McCauliffe who scored their first tries for the U8's - and Theo again for some ferocious tagging! "
