In cold and very wet conditions OL's U9's took a strong team of 12 on the long trip to Premiership side Worcester for 3 stirring games of Rugby in the rain.

OL's won a cracking opener 20 to 15, which was nip and tuck throughout until Josh Allen scored a winning try in virtually the last play of the game. A fantastic team performance with great rucking from Will Button and two excellent tries from Sennan Scobie, whose strong running was an outstanding feature of the game.

The same 12 players went immediately into a second game, and with the conditions and the large pitch taking its toll on tired legs and cold hands, lots of space opened up for Worcester's second string to run away with a 40 to 20 win. The team persevered throughout with an excellent touchline run and try from Alex Smith.

The team rallied for one final game to draw 15 to 15, with ever present James McSharry tackling hard and scoring a superb try with a run from the half way line.

Game 1:

Worcester 15 OL's 20 (Sennan Scobie x 2, Will Button, Josh Allen)

Game 2:

Worcester 40 OL's 20 (Alex Smith, James McSharry x 2, Josh Allen)

Game 3:

Worcester 15 OL's 15 (Sennan Scobie, Josh Allen, James McSharry)
