Worcester 0 – OLs 33

OL’s travelled away to Worcester on a day when winter arrived in style.  In atrocious conditions with temperatures close to freezing and in driving sleet OL’s gained a 5 tries to nil victory.  The boys gave a tremendous performance of aggressive tackling together with attacking flair, combining some great individual runs into space with wonderful passing moves and outstanding support play – proving that it is possible to play flowing running rugby in the most foul of conditions.

Worcester 0 OLs 33

tries: Ben Beards (2), Jake Byrne, Stelios Tzirki and Toby Whelan

Conversions: Jake Byrne (3), Sam Martin

Players of the match: Stelios Tzirki and Toby Whelan

Best Support: Jake Byrne

Sunday November 23rd at the club from 10.00am

The gum shield is the most important piece of equipment a rugby player should own.

gumshield.pngThe gum shield not only protects your teeth and gums, it can reduce damage around the jaw and your chances of getting concussed.

As every mouth is different, so every gum shield should be moulded to fit perfectly around the top half of a player's mouth.

The best way of doing this is to see your local club dentist, who will make sure the shield is right for your mouth.

Roy Dixon, Dentist of this parish, will be available at the club to take impressions for perfectly moulded blue-and-gold gum shields.

£25 cash for complete piece of mind
