On a bitterly cold day OL’s U11s hosted Earlsdon. There must be something in the Leamington water that stunts growth as once again the opponents arrived with a forward line which dwarfed the home team.
OL’s were also missing a number of regulars and despite being substantially out-muscled up front produced a solid performance with 3 Jake Byrne tries carrying the day. Oliver Webb was chosen as best support player.
A second game was played which involved a number of OL players operating out of position to shore up the pack. OL’s performed well eventually coming out 14-7 winners in a game that was unfortunately curtailed due to an injury to one of the Earlsdon team.
Tries were scored by players of the match; James Perkins and Rory sinnott.
Overall, a good performance by all.
