14 Nights ago, 14 young wenches took to the high seas and anchored in
Brighton for a weekend of Pirate fun.

Even though we couldn’t secure a team to play any rugby against, on the Saturday after watching England put on a disappointing display against New Zealand , we got through our hangovers with a day of paint balling. Although we had a few yellow bellies who can cope with pain on the pitch but not in the woods, we cannot forget Claire Penna’s mercy mission into the fort which secured her left ‘rear’ cheek at least 9 close range bruises!

That night we headed out, fully adorned with pirate costumes to enjoy an Italian meal where we managed to get the waiter to dress up! After filling our bellies we then headed across town to sample the local rum. Cockle Cruncher Crispie managed to choke on her pieces of eight and Fearless Fi mistook the floor for her chair in the first bar, the second saw a few more pirates head back the their hammocks but most of the crew made it to the club for some pirate shenanigans. Kamikaze got acquainted with the locals & the parrots enjoyed the dancing!

The next morning saw the wenches head down the pier for a mystery activity, avoiding hundreds of cyclists who had made it from London that morning on the London to Brighton Bike Ride.  Beach volley ball was the challenge and we took it on gracefully(ahem!)!!

After a final meal we headed back to the Jolly Rum Bus and set off home after an excellent weekend!

Well done to Chrispie Cockle Cruncher who organised an excellent tour!
