Old Leams faced a very strong Warwickian ‘A’team and competed well throughout a keenly contested game. OLs scored first through fly half Paul Towey in the corner following strong forward play driving the ball well into the visitors 22. Warwickians scored shortly before half-time to level the scores at half-time.  Warwickians started the second half with a quick score but OLs heads never dropped and an excellent individual try resulted for winger Mark Foley. For the next 30 minutes both sides pressed for that winning score and is was Warwickians who notched the decisive score in the last minute of the game. All credit to a game OLs side who contested every phase of the game with excellent efforts especially by ‘Donc’, Joey Jowanda and Paul Towey.
