OLs were just pipped in a well contested hard fought game. Both sets of forwards strived to dominate the other but neither succeeded. Harbury nudged into the lead with a penalty kick shortly before halftime. The second half saw more good work from both packs but Harbury sealed victory with a well worked try which was duly converted. Forwards Dean Harris and Tony Wood responded by raising their games further and together with fullback Rod Capp, who was so safe under the high ball, they counter attacked with enthusiasm. The OL Thirds look forward to the next encounter hoping for the elusive win that their efforts deserve.
