OLs Under11s made the short trip to Broadstreet on Sunday.

In the first game, against Broadstreet OLs made a perfect start. Callum recovered the kick off and as the forwards rucked over, Kyriakos and Will F spread the ball wide for Kieran to cut back and score after 16 seconds! Kyriakos scored a trademark secon from a scrum five. The second half was scoreless, but a good start!

A scoreless next match versus Stafford, highlighted that defences were on top. Frustratingly, the dominant OLs scrum was driven off the ball close to the Stafford line, in the last play of the match. Concentration, boys!!

Eventual winners, Lutterworth were gifted a try in the first minute, as OLs dropped the kick-off allowing our opponents to recycle and score through some flimsy tackling. OLs regrouped, but could not get back into the match.

Our final fixture against Old Coventrians, allowed some experimentation. Jack F came into fly-half, his fourth position in four matches, and scrum-half Kyriakos and hooker Callum, swapped positions. Two tries in each half, without reply, from Jack F (2), George and Kieran, made sure we ended on a high, finsihing in second place.

A special word for novices Adam and Thomas, who made very promising tournament debuts for the Club.
