Austin Healey paid a visit to the Crofts on Friday night to host a special training session for Old Leamingtonians Ladies Rugby team.

Kym James, who plays for the ladies team, entered an online competition last year for  ITV4's "The Big Tackle with O2" to win a training session with Austin.

Austin started the session by asking the team about where their strengths weaknesses lie.  The Ladies used the session to use Austin's experience to teach them new ideas and tactics. Going through a tough season where scored points have been few the ladies worked on attacking techniques and being strong in contact.

Over 25 ladies turned out to the session despite it being held on a Friday! Several other young club members turned up to get their picture taken and autographs signed.

Recruitment efforts have been paying off and the team have built successful links with Warwick University Ladies team. With over ten new players now playing for OLs Ladies this season, the team are hopeful for future performances and Austin's training session should continue to improve the team's ability.
