OLs Under 11s hosted Evesham on a wet and windy Sunday.
In the first of two matches, OLs nearly scored from the kick off but Evesham’s excellent defence kept the home team at bay. However, OLs kept up the pressure and were rewarded with two tries in each half, through George Hawkes, Sennan Scobie, Will Fawcett and James McSharry, the latter adding 4 conversions in a 28 – 0 win.
In the rematch, OLs fielded a much-changed team, and tried players in different positions. Again two tries were scored in each half, through Kyriakos Grammatopoulos and Sam Hill before half time, and Matthew Sawyer and Kieran Brophy after the break. Alex Smith added a single conversion in a victory by 22 – 0.
