Old Leamingtonians Vets had the great misfortune to meet AEI Rugby on another sunny Saturday when to a man they had totally forgotten that a critical part of the game of rugby was tackling.

Following a vigorous collective discussion at half time about said tackling, the Vets played the second half with considerably more commitment resulting in a try for scrum half Lester Hunt, converted by winger Jack Orton. Sadly AEI scored a further two trys.

We need to thank Andy Hall for stepping in at the last moment to referee the game, not the worst we have experienced by a long way, very well done Andy.
