Old Leamingtonians Vets entertained Nuneaton Old Edwardians 2nd team to their Crofts ground having obtained the fixture from the pool. The first half went the way of the Old Edwardians despite a massive effort by all Vets in defence, restricting the scoring to 17 points to the visitors.The second half was a mirror of the first with the visitors scoring a further 19 points. Scrum half for the Old Leamingtonians Vets Lester Hunt scored a typical try from a set piece close to the line. Man of the match Barry Wright displayed great skill in the lineout.
